Mastubation is SAFE! Cool! :)

Okay, its 6:43 in the morning right now but as soon as I open my Facebook account, this article catches my attention, thus, I read it and decided to post it all here.

Given our busy schedules, perhaps the time has come to enjoy solo sex. Remember, 94% men and 89% women still masturbate on a regular basis. Masturbation doesn't cause any harm to your body until and unless you over do it.

Here, we give you five reasons why you should masturbate.

Masturbation is healthy: Masturbation is one of the best ways to stay healthy and has many health benefits. It can cure diseases like insomnia, stress, anxiety, menstrual cramp, depression, and it can even stimulate your immune system. Some researches say it's also a form of exercise; it can burn a few calories even though it can't match up to gym workout.

It feels really good: Fantasies make masturbating so much fun. So, fantasize about having sex with celebrities, porn stars, strangers and what have you. By masturbating, you can have one of the greatest orgasms of your life.

Masturbation is safe: What's the only 100% safe form of sex? It's masturbation. You don't need to worry about getting pregnant or getting an STD. Unlike sex, masturbation is free of cost. It's your own body, do whatever you want.

Masturbation is natural: Masturbation is normal, and it's a natural act. It is a common form of autoeroticism. Forget the myths and misconceptions regarding masturbation. It will never lead to infertility, sexual weakness or loss of libido. Even animals like monkeys, dogs, and cats masturbate.

Masturbation improves sexual relationship: You can learn many things from masturbation. It can improve your sexual relationships with your partner. Women can explore their own body through masturbation; they can determine what is erotically pleasing to them and can share this with their partners.

It's a fun experience.

For some obvious reason, I won't be posting a picture in support of this Article. Just let your imagination play for itself. Ha ha ha!

MAGIC TEMPLE and MAGIC KINGDOM

Okay, during my childhood days, I have this favorite movie titled: MAGIC TEMPLE starring Jason Salcedo, Junnel Hernando and Jun Urbano.

Of course, who will forget the epic character of Ms. Gina Pareno (Telang Bayawak) who had been hangged a hundred times but won't even die?! Or Ms. Jackie Lou Blanco's role of the antagonist of the movie. I forgot her name in the movie.

And of course, I'm pretty sure you are familiar with this lines. . .

Buto kalansay. . .
Tabi-tabi po sa bangkay. . .
Lulubog. . . Lilitaw. . .
Sa saradon hukay. . .

Anyway, right now, May 15, 2012, ABS-CBN is showing a movie titled MAGIC KINGDOM... Which, according to my friend Jhon Parks (http://www.facebook.com/jhon.parks), the movie is a sequel to Magic Temple... Now that you've mentioned it, should have watched it from the very beginning...

Anyhow. . . My cousin, Eugene Ferrer (http://www.facebook.com/jastinejea) posted this on my wall in re: Ang Magic Kingdom ba, continuation ng Magic Temple? "Is Magic Kingdom a continution of Magic Temple?"

My cousin said: magic flakes....magic splash..... magic sarap.... and magic sing..... sunod sunod na yan......

Hahahahahahaha!

THE LOVE OF SIAM

In one of our countless chit-chats, Angelo suggested that I watch The Love of Siam (Rak Saeng Sayam). I am not really fond of watching movies, unless I am really curious of the plot or I really and dying to watch the movie, so I just said I would watch it if I could grab a copy of the film. Yeah, that was actually synonymous to saying simply, ‘No.’

While I was surfing the net one day, I clicked on the Cinemanila link from one of the pages that I viewed. It revealed the list of the winners for the Cinemanila International Film Festival; included in the roster of winners was Mario Maurer (at first, the name seems familiar and later did I realize that he was a friend of Jae Ha!) for The Love of Siam, the movie that my film-buff confidante suggested. I instantly thought the film was worth watching (this may sound an insult to Angelo, a film major from UP, because I didn’t heed his suggestion at first and did doubt the ‘worth’ of the film) since it was internationally recognized so I downloaded it immediately.

Angelo told me the film is about love between two guys, but other than that heprovided no further information. I also didn’t bother to look for its synopsis from the internet as I was quite unenthusiastic watching it wholly; the film by the way was 2.50 hours long! I never intended to spend 3 hours for this film because I thought 2.50 hours could be translated as b-o-r-i-n-g.

As what Angelo told me, the film revolved around childhood friends Tong and Mew. At first, they seemed two parallel poles that would never meet despite the proximity of their houses, until Tong saved Mew from the bullying of their schoolmates. Tong did so because he accidentally spat gum into Mew’s hair and it was his way of saying sorry. Since then, they had become close and started hanging out together.

In one christmas vacation, Tong’s family went to Chiangmai. Upon his return, Tong gave Mew a red-nosed wooden toy, dressed like santa claus. He gave it piece by piece in the form of a treasure hunt. Unfortunately, before Mew could get the last piece, the red nose, which was hidden on a tree, the tree was cut down.

One terrible incident shocked Tong’s family – Tong’s older sister, Tang, who extended her vacation with her friends in Chiangmai, disappeared and never returned home. Sunee and Korn, Tong’s parents, went to Chiangmai to look for Tang but failed. During the days Sunee and Korn were in search for Tang, Tong stayed with Mew. They became closer. Not long after Tong’s parents returned home without Tang, they decided to transfer to another place to move on. Tong and Mew parted ways.

It was during their senior years in high school, when Tong and Mew accidentally met at Siam Square. Tong was supposed to buy August band’s new album, in which Mew was the leader, but all the stocks of the album were already sold out. Lucky for Tong, the August band was in the vicinity. He and Mew saw each other, and exchanged numbers. Mew’s romantic feelings for Tong, which he had harbored since they became friends, blossomed again.

The two became even closer when they frequently saw each other. There was a time when Tong slept at Mew’s house.

(From the subtitle:)

Tong: So, Mew, how have you been?

Mew: Fine. Playing music is fun.

Tong: But you are alone. Aren’t you lonely?

(Mew looked at Tong.)

Mew: Frighteningly lonely.

Tong: What do you mean “frighteningly lonely?”

Mew: It’s like when we were younger, we were so lonely because we didn’t have a lot of friends. And now that we are grown up, loneliness seems just so much worse.

Tong: Why is it so bad for you?

Mew: I don’t know how to explain it. It started during the summer when I was in 8th grade. Papa took grandma somewhere for several days. And the day she came back, Grandma: I heard that when I was away you were so stubborn.

(Grandma died.)

Mew: It’s not easy at all, because the longer mu grandma is gone, the more I miss her. So I have one question. If we can love someone so much how will we be able to handle the day when we are separated? And, if being separated is a part of life, and you know about separation well, is it possible Tong that we can love someone and never be afraid of losing them?

Mew: At the same time, I was also wondering. Is it possible that we can live our entire life without loving anyone at all? That’s my loneliness. I have lived with it now for 5 years. I know just how bad loneliness feels. I fear it will continue to get worse.

Tong, to comfort his friend, let Mew sleep in his arms. Tong was then starting to feel something romantically for Mew (or was starting to rekindle his love for Mew?).

Meanwhile, Tong’s dad Korn had not recovered yet for his daughter’s disappearance, which resulted in his drinking spree everyday. He also did not eat much food. However, Korn started to recover when ‘Tang,’ the new manager of the August band, re-appeared. The manager was actually June who looked like Tang. When Sunee offered June a sideline, she accepted it for she needed money for her eventual migration. Sunee wanted June to disguise and act as Tang, so Korn would recover from extreme loneliness, and feeling of guilt, and recuperate.

To celebrate June’s return, Tong’s family held a party; August band sang. Mew enthusiastically sang the song he made for Tong. It was during this party when ‘the kiss’ happened. Tong and Mew kissed, supposedly signaling the start of their romantic relationship. Unfortunately, Sunee saw the kiss, and talked to Mew the following day.

Sunee: Mew, I want you to listen to me carefully. Mew, you know what my family has had to cope with, right? You know what we have lost, right?

Sunee: Tong is the only one we have left and I don’t want to see him taking a path that is not right.

Mew: What do you mean?

Sunee: In the future, when Tong has graduated, he has to find a job, save money, and look for a good wife, ger married and have a happy family, where they can take care of each other when they grow old. That is life, Mew.

Sunee: I tried to make sure he grows up that way. Do it for Tong Mew. Stop this relationship that you have with him. It doesn’t matter what kind of love you have for Tong. You should want to ensure he is happy and that he has a good life.

Mew: Aunty Sunee, we’re just friends.

Sunee: Mew, one day you will understand.

Ying, the neighbor who was in love with Mew, eavesdropped on the conversation.

Mew did not show up at Siam square for a rendezvous with Tong. When Tong learned that Sunee had a talk with Mew earlier, he went to Mew’s house adamantly, but failed to see Mew. Mew also didn’t show up for their band’s audition. Since the conversation with Sunee, Mew’s music life had gone in hibernation. He had been unable to sing songs for his band. He had also ceased talking to and seeing Tong.

When Mew recovered a bit, he went to his band’s practice only to find out he was replaced. Not long after, Aex went to Mew’s house to relay the audition form (whatever was that). The two had a brief yet heart-to-heart conversation, which would make Mew feel better.

At Tong’s house, Sunee was starting to decorate their christmas tree when Tong went out of his room and helped his mom. He asked Sunee which between the boy and the girl decors looked better if put on the christmas tree.

Sunee: Just go ahead, okay?

Tong: What if I choose one and you don’t like it? You’ll be upset again.

Sunee obtained the boy and the girl decors from Tong.

Sunee: Choose what you think is best for yourself.

Tong got the boy, placed it on the christmas tree, and smiled. Sunee forcefully smiled, but seemed to accept the decision of her son.

Tong and Ying, who already became friends, went out. They passed by the store where Tong earlier saw the wooden toy he gave to Mew when he returned from Chiangmai. The price rose from 750to 1,350 baht. Luckily, Ying was able to get, after begging and kneeling in front of the owner for the piece, only the red nose piece Tong needed.

Meanwhile, August band was preparing for the Christmas Festival at Siam square with a new singer. However, the new singer could not get the right tune and feeling required for the song. Mew appeared at the practice room, joined his band, and began practicing.

On the day of the Christmas Festival, Tong met with Donut and told her they could not see each other anymore. Tong met with Ying to see Mew perform. Together, they held hands towards the backstage to see Mew but Ying eventually let go of Tong’s hand; only Tong met with Mew after the August band’s performance.

At their house, Sunee gathered piece by piece the message of June, who by then was leaving their country.

June’s message: I have been thinking. How will you make it from now on? But I believe so much that you can make it without me because you have so much love for one another. Even though, sometimes, it seems to be too much that we end up hurting each other but I believe as time goes by we would all agree that there is no such thing as “Too much love.” Even if we make mistakes along the way, it’s better than never having tried to love and be loved. Wouldn’t you agree? Life always gives us opportunity to start over after we learn from our mistakes. I hope you take these opportunities and take good care of one another. Thank you for everything. I hope there’s a chance that we will see each other again.

Tong met with Mew, who was then on his way out of the venue with bandmates.

Tong: The music was great.

Mew: Do you have anything to say after listening to it?

Tong: Umm. I can’t be with you as your boyfriend.

(Pause. Mew’s facial expression became sad but immediately smiled; he was teary-eyed though.)

Tong: But that doesn’t mean that I don’t love you.

(Mew was forcing himself to smile. He managed to overcome the sadness that the preceding statement caused, with the joy brought by Tong’s last reply.)

Mew: Thank you.

Before they parted ways, Tong gave as christmas present the last piece of the wooden toy – the red nose. When Mew reached his house, he placed the last piece into the wooden toy, and silently, he cried.

The film left me whining, more than sad, when it ended. I was complaining because for me the film was not yet over as there were still unanswered questions in my mind. The film could extend a little longer so it would unclutter some blurred images in my mind. I thought I could predict the ending of the film as obstacles surrounding the supposed relationship of the two lovers started to clear. But all of a sudden Tong did not want to be Mew’s boyfriend.
