Enjoyed the day... Stressed by night

Thats my CARAMOAN Adventure! I really enjoyed the morning activities, but was deeply stressed during the night... Argh!

Nakaduman man baga guiraray! Palibhasa, bagong mga suweldo! lol

DAY 1. Nagmata ako around 4:00 am to prepare for the trip. As in dai pa ako nagiimpake! LOL.

From there, sakay kami ning bus towards Goa Terminal para sumakay ulit ning jeep from Goa to Sabang. Around 10:30 am na kami nakaabot ning Sabang, Partido. From there, wait ulit kami ning pirang minutes, this time, sa motorized bangka naman. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Gosh! And how much more kay Khrisna! LOL! Peace Khris!

So from there, another 1 hour and 45 minutes na byahe... Then siguro mga 11:30 to 12:00 na kami nakaabot sa port kan Caramoan. From there, sakay na naman kami ning jeep towards Centro of Caramoan.

LOL

Movie Project for INA 300

It is with gratitude to God that the movie-project is finally set to start shooting this coming March 3, 2010. The movie is written and directed by Marilou Diaz-Abaya, a multi-awarded film maker and director. Lead roles will be played by Judy Ann Santos, Ryan Agoncillo, Marvin Agustin, Christopher de Leon, Vivian Velez, and a boy-a newcomer in the industry-who could be a new Santino in the making. The movie is expected to be finished before the celebration of the tercentenary in September. The producer of the movie, our very own Bikolano film maker and producer, Tony Gloria, of the UNITEL Production known for socially relevant movies, hopes to include the movie in this year's entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) on December.
The Archbishop of Caceres, Leonardo Z. Legaspi, has proposed to a group of investors from Bikol particularly from Naga City, to help in financing the movie. The businessmen were presented with the proposal that the money is not a donation but an investment on the project that is expected to generate enough support and patronage thus paying off, at least the principal, given by each investor. It is with much hope that with a world-class director and power cast, the movie will share the devotion to all Filipinos and devotees of Ina in the Philippines and in other parts of the world.

The Peñafrancia Association of Bikolanos in Metro Manila has also contributed to the movie project. It has been the association's enthusiasm and persistence that found the ways and means to piece together the various

Contrary to the expectation that the movie will be like a documentary film or an epoch film, it will be a commercial movie with an interesting storyline woven by complex relationships set in the context of a religious experience of a devotee of Ina whose family traces its roots in Bikol. Moviegoers can expect not only entertainment but also an interesting presentation of the devotion in a way that even those who have no previous knowledge and experience of the popular devotion can appreciate its significance in the life of Filipino.

The actors with lead roles have started the workshop under Marilou Diaz-Abaya. It is heartwarming to receive a text message from director Marilou saying how the presence of Ina is very much felt during the workshops.

The movie will not only be shown in the Philippines but also in the United States, Australia, Europe and some Asian countries where the devotion to Ina is widespread. The Peñafrancia Associations in all the continents will be asked to support the movie.

It is with anticipation that we await the completion of the movie because of the possibility to share the gift of devotion to Ina to all Filipinos in the Philippines and in other countries.

The movie project took a while before it could start because of some unforeseen difficulties and some obstacles along the way. The powerful intercession of Ina, however, has made it possible for the realization of the movie. It is a gift from God, indeed, that for the first time in 300 years, a movie dedicated to Ina is now in the offing.

Gosh! I'm twenty three!

Yhep! Its official, I'm already twenty-three years old and I really still feels like I'm still twenty! :D

Anyway, now that I am twenty-three, I can't help but ask myself, "What have I learned during my twenty two years here?"

Do I have any realization?

Argh, I guess not!

Two Years of Wating and Wanting

After two long years of waiting and wanting, I was able to re-visit the Chapel of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Buraguis, Legaspi City.

Pupunta kasi ako sa Regional Office ng CSC sa Rawis, Legaspi City to get my Certificate of Eligibility since kaipuhan ko siya sa work. Then sabi ko, since na papunta lang naman ako ng Legaspi, why not visit na din at the same time the Chapel of Our Lady of Guadalupe. So yun, niyaya ko si Papa to accompany me pagpunta dun, hindi ko kasi kayang mag solo papunta dun, and he willingly agreed naman. Thanks Pa!

So as early as 5:00 am yesterday, umalis kami ng Naga. Effort ang gumising ng maaga for me. He-he-he. Then nung nagising ako, I saw the majestic Mt. Mayon. Medyo unti-unti nang nawawala ang pagiging perfect cone nito because of the constant eruption. Picture dito, picture don.

Mayon, he-he-he, then sakay na agad ng jeep papuntang Rawis.

Super serene ang lugar and breath taking a view sa itaas. Hindi ko naman talaga actually plan na bumalik pa doon, pero nung 2007, nag palit ng Patron Saint and Market and ang Guadalupe ang ipinalit from Fatima. So yun, naalala ko ang Chapel sa Legaspi and so I decided to come back.

Sakay kami ng jeep from the ROV na ang route ay B. I dunno kung ano difference, basta sabi nung napagtanungan namin, B raw ang sakyan namin. So, yun, sakay naman kami ni Papa sa Route B na jeep with the instruction na ibaba kami sa sakayan ng trycicle en route to Buraguis Hill.

So yun, baba kami ng jeep and lipat ng trike. Lol! Pero okay lang, kasi super init! He-he-he.

He-he-he.

And talagang pagka bukas, shame, reflect agad sa akin yung light from the inside!

"Let this be a sanctuary for troubled souls..."

I prayed and I mean really, really prayed. Then after, picture galore.

Then kuwentuhan kami nung caretaker, sabi niya, yung may-ari nung chapel, died of cancer and madaming mga plans ang hindi na natuloy because of her death.
